INDOOR PROGRAM
Beginning in late November, the NLHS “Band of Knights” and Band Boosters sponsor student groups and ensembles that meet outside of the school day.  For the guard and marching percussion, this provides an opportunity for them to continue their participation in a group that can expand their abilities.  The Jazz Band meets once a week.  Under the leadership of Mr. Lowe, the Jazz Band performs in concerts and at the Western Region Jazz MPA.  “NL Black” percussion and the “NL Blue” winterguard compete in the CIPA circuit and travel to competitions throughout the Carolinas.  Participation in WGI regional events are planned for this year.
