The Roundtable Tournament will be a prelim/finals event, and will be sanctioned as a NCBA competition. In the early afternoon, preliminary competition will be held awarding rating and ranking trophies in classifications with bands separated by the number of wind instruments. Prelims will be limited to 17 bands. Classes will be determined after registration is closed and equal distribution of bands can be made. Performance order will not be by class, and will be determined by postmark. Awards are numerous and beautiful. There will be first and second placements in Music, Visual, Effect, Visual Ensemble, Percussion and Drum Major in each class. The first place band in each class, plus the next highest scores regardless of class will make-up the eight bands who will move to the evening finals competition. After prelim awards and finalist bands are announced, directors will meet to draw for finalist performance order. Final awards will follow immediately after exhibition performances by the North Lincoln Band of Knights and any visiting ensemble.
